Wine Lounge to Open in Downtown Bentonville

News

As we emerge from COVID-19 lockdowns, Ramo d’Olivo (Ramo) located in Downtown Bentonville is reinventing itself by launching the first wine lounge in Bentonville.

Owners Laura and Tom Gheen had the idea to create a fun lounge space for their customers who want to relax with wine or bubbly.

The space was originally built out as a Deli and most recently used for private events. In 2020, the space was underutilized, this spurred the idea to convert the space into Bentonville’s first wine lounge.

With the addition of 30 new seats, the newly designed lounge by local design firm, PS Spaces, will feature an intimate setting with an expanded wine selection. The lounge features work from multiple local artisans including craftsman Josh Rostek. Robert Panko of PS Spaces worked with Laura to create a relaxed bohemian vibe for the lounge. “We want customers to feel comfortable and at home, not overwhelmed by the design. The concept is fun, flirty, and whimsical. The result is a space suitable for business entertaining yet comfortable enough for a night out with friends,” said Panko.

Ramo will host a preview night, open to the public, on Thursday, April 22, 2021, from 4-8P.
