BENTONVILLE, AR - Downtown Bentonville Incorporated is proud to announce that the Bentonville Farmers Market has been named the ‘Best Farmers Market’ in Arkansas for a second consecutive year.  Late last week, the American Farmland Trust announced the winners of its 16th annual ‘America’s Farmers Market Celebration’, which names the best markets across the country.

“We are humbled by this recognition, especially two years running”, said Dylan Taylor, the manager of the Bentonville Farmers Market, “We (DBI) work hard every week to produce the best market we can, but the real winners are the local farmers and makers.  Every week they bring some amazing produce and fresh goods for our market, we could not succeed without those farmers.”

As we celebrate this title, The Bentonville Farmers Market is also celebrating National Farmers Market Week at this Saturday’s market.

In addition to the bi-weekly POP! Children’s Area, where kids will receive free market dollars to use on produce, families can stop by the DBI tent to start a market scavenger hunt, receive giveaways, and fill out ‘Thank You’ cards for our local farmers.  There will also be photo ops around the market.

DBI is looking for a photo that best represents the market! Submit your picture by tagging @downtownbentonville on Instagram to enter the FREE contest.  The winner will have their photo printed and on display at future markets, and will win a Downtown Bentonville swag bag.

But that’s not all! To commemorate the start of National Farmers Market Week, the official Bentonville Farmers Market online store is launching on August 4th. Find the link on DBI’s social media pages.

The Bentonville Farmers Market is every Saturday from 7:30 to 1:00 pm from April until October.
