Bentonville, AR - Family fun is back in Downtown Bentonville with the return of First Friday presented by Walmart on May 2nd.  May’s monthly theme is ‘Adventure Land’ and promises to have plenty of free, family fun for everyone, including a one-of-a-kind bike show from professional cyclist, and the founder of Bikefest in Bentonville, Kenny Belaey.

Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art will be taking over First Friday with a fun activation that celebrates the museum’s latest special exhibition KAWS: FAMILY. Drop by to check out their expanded Mobile Art Lab, featuring a selfie moment, community art making, and more information on this iconic exhibition.  KAWS: FAMILY is on view now through July 28.

First Friday begins at 3:00 PM and continues until 9:00 PM, with live entertainment on stage starting at 4:30 PM. This month’s headliner is the popular local band Boom Kinetic.

Our friends at Playstrong Pediatrics are hosting Sensory Alley.  Sensory Alley is an inclusive, quiet space for families and individuals who experience sensory barriers.  

Before First Friday begins, don’t forget to join us for your lunch break. Our amazing local restaurants will all be open during First Friday, so be sure to stop in and grab a bite. Join Yoga Story NWA on the Square for a complimentary class from noon to 1:00 PM. All ages and skill levels welcome, be sure to bring your own mat or blanket, and plenty of water.
