FIRST FRIDAY IN JUNE WELCOMES ‘ART FEST’

News
Downtown Bentonville Incorporated is happy to welcome ‘Art Fest’ to First Friday Fueled by ZOA Energy Drinks.  On June 2nd some of the best artists and most beautiful artworks in Northwest Arkansas will be featured on the Bentonville Square.

‘Art Fest’ begins at 3 PM and continues until 9 PM and will be a night to remember.  More than 80 local artists and craftsmen will join us for First Friday.

The Hershey Company is our monthly sponsor, so get ready for some tasty candy from Hershey’s, Kit-Kat, Reese’s, Twizzlers, and Ice Breakers.

The music of ‘Art Fest’ will celebrate some of the best DJs in our region.  DJ Afrosia is headlining First Friday at 7 PM.

DJ Afrosia said, “There is nothing more rewarding than seeing people free themselves on the dance floor.”

The musical party will begin at 5pm with local DJ M. Bolez, followed by Allen.MP3 from 6pm to 6:50pm.

First Friday ‘Lunch Break’ continues this month, allowing folks to enjoy the food trucks around the square a little early.  Our local food trucks will start serving lunch at 11 AM.

And back by popular demand, KITTEN YOGA.   Following ‘Lunch Break’, Yoga Story NWA is teaming up with Mew Cat Rescue for Kitten Yoga.  Classes are 1:30 PM and 5:00 PM and space is limited.  Sign Up at www.yogastory.info, tickets are $22.

As always parking is difficult, so DBI encourages everyone to arrive early. The full First Friday event begins at 3 PM.

Downtown Bentonville Inc. and our partners Trailblazers, People for Bikes NWA, Runway Group, and Visit Bentonville encourage our community to ride to First Friday!  A Downtown Bentonville Park and Ride map has been created to aid in visiting downtown Bentonville without a car. Use any set of wheels (or even just one) and follow a suggested route available at the following link: https://wearetrailblazers.org/nwa-parkandride

The map includes bike racks, bike shops, and more to help in planning.

Thanks to our First Friday partners, Walton Family Foundation, Visit Bentonville, Walmart, The Walmart Museum, and the City of Bentonville.
