Celebrate Día de Los Muertos at MONAH

The Museum of Native American History will host Bentonville Día de Los Muertos Festival, a celebration of life, on October 30, 2021, with all-day programs, workshops, and vendors, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST. A traditional ofrenda is available for the community. Visit their website for free registration.

The Dia de Los Muertos Festival will host various programs, including Disney's Coco, the play "Dead Before the Day" in Spanish and English, the bilingual play "La Tortuga and The Hare," folkloric dancing from "Flores de México," and mariachi music from Mariachi Esencia!

From 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, there will be five raffles.

The onsite vendors will Rolling Taco Mexican Food, Mama Z Tortilla and Tamales Factory, Crafts Pedacitos de mi Tierra, the art of Isaac Helguera, Moonttali (Mexican clothes), traditional ¨Pan de Muerto¨from Gaby's Bakery, and 211 Cafe.

Programing and production are in partnership with The House of Songs, Bentonville Public Library, and Trike Theatre. This event is sponsored by the Walton Family Foundation.
