Crystal Bridges and The Momentary will reopen to the public on Wednesday, June 10.
The museums detailed new safety measures in place to ensure public safety, following state guidelines.
LIMITED CAPACITY: Crystal Bridges and The Momentary members will have member-only access to the museum from Saturday, June 6 to Monday, June 8. The museums will offer timed tickets to ensure a limited number of visitors will be in the building. Member preview hours will be 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. The museums will open to the general public on Wednesday, June 10.
PUBLIC HEALTH SAFETY: Visitors and staff are required to wear face coverings. Per state guidelines, face coverings are required for visitors ages ten years and older. At Crystal Bridges and The Momentary, face coverings are recommended for ages 2-9. Masks will be available upon entry for those who do not have one. All staff and volunteers will undergo temperature checks prior to entering the building. Cleaning and sanitization will increase with the addition of hand sanitizer stations throughout the building.
SOCIAL DISTANCING: Signage will be in place to reinforce social distancing rules, including designated paths noted for guests throughout the spaces
ONLINE OFFERINGS: Public programs will continue to be online-only.
“Hank Willis Thomas: All Things Being Equal…” has been extended (and is now free) through July 13 at Crystal Bridges.
“State of the Art 2020” will be extended with the full exhibition on view at both Crystal Bridges and the Momentary through July 12.
Yayoi Kusama’s “Infinity Mirrored Room,” the Frank Lloyd Wright-designed Bachman-Wilson House, James Turrell’s “Skyspace: The Way of Color,” and the Studio artmaking space will remain closed until further notice due to limited space for distancing.
