As the home of Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art and 21c Museum Hotel, Compton Garden and the Bentonville Public Library, award winning restaurants, numerous festivals, public art and art galleries, Downtown Bentonville is unquestionably the epicenter of Bentonville’s emerging art, cultural and culinary scene.
The 2014 Bentonville Art & Culinary Festival is the celebration of the arts in all its forms. From June 1st – June 30th, we offer a wide variety of programming – from special culinary events, visual art shows and live music performances to creative children’s activities, film workshops and chef demonstrations.

A vibraphonist/percussionist living, studying, and playing in the Northwest Arkansas area, Adam is a versatile musician proficient in classical and jazz music. His groove based band Minkus Finkus was a local favorite and received two Northwest Arkansas Music awards and one Ozark Music award. The band performed twice at the Charlie Christian Jazz festival in Oklahoma City, The Great Unknown music festival, and Winfest.
Three of Bentonville's top restaurants-Tusk & Trotter, Eleven at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art and The Hive at 21c Museum Hotel-have been invited to perform their craft at the storied James Beard House in New York City. This Backstage Downtown will showcase their creations, with a slight twist, that will be shared at the James Beard House event.
In 1976, Claudia enrolled at Berklee School of Music in Boston, followed by a fruitful period of performance in Houston, Texas, where she met and played with people like Don Wilkerson and Arnett Cobb to name a couple. Since returning to Fayetteville in 1998, Claudia has gained a regional following through her many performances. She has played countless club dates and festivals throughout the country, and a featured performance in the Walton Arts Center's Jazz Series.
